My name is Lilah Chen and I am beyond excited to serve as your Secretary General MAMUNC24. Last year, we hosted the very first MAMUNC ever, heralding a new tradition of discussion, collaboration and debate in the heart of Silicon Valley. This year, we are expanding our horizons to create a conference filled with even more lively intellect and productive camaraderie.

MAMUNC24 will be held on October 19th, 2024, at Menlo Atherton High School in Atherton, California. Our team is working hard to curate a thoughtful and purposeful atmosphere where delegates can debate pressing global affairs and socialize with other innovative individuals. This year’s committees reflect a variety of unique issues that the international community faces at present; from the rare earth mineral trade to human cloning and cryogenics, delegates will be pushed to consider creative problems and formulate even more creative solutions. Regardless, we hope to give delegates an opportunity to strengthen their public speaking skills, increase their worldly knowledge, and form lasting connections with others. 

On a final note of appreciation, MAMUNC would not be possible without our Secretariat and staff who have graciously volunteered their time and expertise to ensure that this conference runs smoothly and serves as both a valuable and fun experience.
